The BPIF unveiled its new head office on London's Farringdon Road to the industry this week.
President Roy Bailie paid tribute to the federation's staff for their support during the half-mile move on 6 November from its old premises in Bedford Row.
The open-plan office houses approximately 40 staff. The BPIF's executives, including chief executive Roy Hill, are based in glass-walled offices in full view of staff in the main open-plan area.
The offices were designed by Price Walton Interiors, based in nearby Spitalfields.
Representatives from the BPIF's new e-commerce partners, PrintRepublic and GroupTrade, attended the opening.
Other industry figures, including Pira managing director Mike Hancock and Picon chief executive John Brazier, were also present.
Bailie admitted that the BPIF had been put under pressure by the trade media and others in the industry urging it to move with the times.
But he said it had responded to the criticism by moving to the new premises.
The new offices are located in London's new media heartland, Clerkenwell.
