The sessions will be aimed at helping employers and individuals understand how they can support apprentices, and how they can get more involved in apprenticeships to help individuals develop the skills and knowledge required for a rewarding career and help employers build a workforce with future-ready skills.
There will also be an opportunity to recognise past and present apprentices’ achievements and to hear first-hand about their experiences, the benefits apprenticeships bring, and what it is like to be an apprentice.
Delegates will also be able to find more information about careers in print, apprenticeship funding, recruitment, and apprentice vacancies.
The free webinars will take place every day next week from 10am to 11am and can be registered for in advance via the links below.
Monday’s topic will be ‘Careers in Print: Apprenticeships and Lifelong Learning’, while Tuesday’s is ‘Apprenticeship Funding: Maximising Financial Support Available’.
Wednesday’s webinar, ‘A Journey in Print’, will show employers how an apprentice can complement their current workforce, while apprentices will be able to get an insight into how print has changed through the generations.
Thursday’s session, which is aimed at employers, parents, carers, guardians, students, and teachers, is titled ‘Apprenticeship Recruitment and Vacancies – Where to Start?’ while Friday’s ‘Apprenticeship Week Wrap-Up’ will see BPIF Training managing director Karly Lattimore reflect on National Apprenticeship Week.
She will summarise some of the key conversations from the week and highlight the plans for the BPIF in the coming year.
