"Doing it two years on the trot was brilliant, I was speechless," said TJ International chief executive Angus Clark. The Padstow-based book printer also won the HR Best Practice Award.
The night's other winners were Field Packaging, East Kilbride (safety), Severnprint (environment), DSI Digital (best use of digital print), MetalFX Technology (marketing excellence), The Electronic Document Company (eBusiness), Alcan Packaging Cumbria (employer), Gerry McKendry Alcan Packaging Cumbria (individual), Tony Jackson Alcan Packaging Midsomer Norton (apprentice), Harlands Labels (turnaround).
BPIF director of corporate and external affairs Cicely Brown congratulated all of the winners. "It's bloody difficult to win an Excellence Award, it takes a lot of time to put the entries together and it's judged very harshly," she said.
TV personality Tony Hawks hosted the event.
