With a portfolio spanning digital, flexo, gravure printing along with extensive post-press equipment the Swiss manufacturer is active across labels, flexible packaging, corrugated board and folding cartons.
CEO Jean-Pascal Bobst stated: “We have made great progress towards the Bobst vision based on the pillars of connectivity, digitalisation, automation and sustainability to help customers thrive in the modern packaging industry.”
The firm has announced new features for Bobst Connect, its cloud-based productivity platform.
This includes “a first step into workflow management” with bi-directional job and recipe data synchronisation, plus new energy monitoring allowing customers to measure energy consumption and costs in real time.
Bobst’s Drupa exhibit will also include robotics for loading and palletising.
“We will also introduce a revolutionary digital solution to print and convert folding cartons,” Bobst said.
“The new all-in-one folding carton machine, improving production on ‘one go’ for food and pharma applications.”
More details are under wraps until the show opens.
Bobst is the biggest exhibitor in Hall 10 at Drupa, which runs from 28 May to 7 June.
