Portsmouth FC has signed a three-year arrangement, while London giant Arsenal are on a one-year rolling agreement and will encompass printing up to 25,000 programmes for each of the 19 home matches.
The new work is expected to add £1m to the company's current £12m turnover and has spurred the 130-staff printer to invest in equipment that will enable it to produce more of its work in-house.
This includes a £500,000 spend on a Heidelberg ST450 six-station stitcher and a new Heidelberg TH82 round pile feeder folder. The company is also considering adding two Domino numbering machines to individually number each programme.
Bishops Printers, which is based in Portsmouth, already handles print work for Chelsea and Fulham FC in the Premiership, as well as Coca Cola Football League clubs Crystal Palace and Charlton Athletic.
