The 160-staff business will move to the 7,710sqm Portsmouth site in August, which is more than twice the size of its current Farlington residence.
Despite costing the company £4.4m, Gareth Roberts, managing director of Bishops Printers said the investment will help the printer grow further in the future.
"We were nearing capacity and the level we could grow to in this site so when the opportunity to move came up, we took it," he said.
He added that the £13m-turnover business could have only realistically grown to the £16m mark at the current facility.
The 25-year-old business carries out work for clients including Chelsea Football Club, Arsenal Football Club, Specsavers and Garmin. It runs equipment that includes a Heidelberg B2 Speedmaster XL75 10-colour 5/5 perfector and two 5/5 Heidelberg Speedmasters.
Although there are no immediate plans to invest in new kit, Roberts said that the extra space would give the company room to add to its portfolio in the future.
He said: "The new premises are more than twice the size of our current buildings on Fitzherbert Road and should provide a great opportunity for the years ahead.
"The economic climate naturally gives rise to some concerns about the timing of this expansion, but I believe we need to be really positive to continue our recent record of growth and we were close to running out of space in our existing facility."
