The firm has entered into a 90-day consultation with the 125 employees at the Essex screen and digital printing site.
Chairman David Mitchell said the firm was adopting a 'balanced manufacturing' approach, combined with managed services using third parties, in order to better meet customer requirements across the peaks and troughs of the retail year.
"We will have the ability to service customers with what they want, when they want it, not just what we can do," he stated. "As a result of our balanced manufacturing strategy we will be able to bundle up categories of spend and negotiate with key service providers."
A top-to-bottom strategic review of the business since the Mitchell-led MBI at the business in November 2009 has resulted in it being reorganised into four divisions: point-of-sale, permanent, creative services and managed services.
Bezier intends to relocate key assets from the Thurrock site to its Leicester and Wakefield production facilities. Mitchell said "robust" transition plans were in place for customers.
