The printed carton giant acquired the order book and various trading assets of the food packaging company yesterday.
Speaking to PrintWeek, Benson Group managing director Mark Kerridge said the company had secured the rights to use the Glasgow-based plant for a period of time.
He said: "Technically speaking, the company is in liquidation and we have also entered into consultation with employees."
Kerridge said it was too early to comment on whether Glasgow-based Cameron Linn will eventually be integrated into the existing companies at Benson Group.
The arrangements for the purchase of the company were finalised with the liquidator yesterday.
A deal for the £8.5m-turnover company, which counts Marks & Spencer among its customers, will bolster Benson Group's turnover to in excess of £93m.
