The deal, which was completed on Friday (16 July) for an undisclosed sum, will boost Paragon's existing ticket printing portfolio, by contributing UK-based "market-leading ticketing facilities" to complement its sites in continental Europe.
European sales and marketing director Iain Black said: "We are looking forward to working with the teams at Hull and Thornaby and to calling upon their extensive skill base, which will complement Paragon's existing experience within this sector, adding further value to our supply chain.
"BemroseBooth adds a new dimension to what we already deliver and we are looking forward to developing the business and moving it forward, working with existing clients and creating new relationships.
"The capabilities that BemroseBooth offers means that we can continue with our development of market-leading products reinforcing our strength within the sector."
Joint administrator David Rubin added: "We are delighted that we have been able to finalise this sale, saving around 160 jobs. This has been achieved with a lot of hard work all round.
"I want to compliment the workforce for their efforts, the customers for their support and those suppliers who stuck with us during this process. Together we have managed to achieve this happy result. We wish the workforce and the new owners every success for the future."
The acquisition follows BemroseBooth's fall into administration and the earlier closure of its Derby-based printing facilities.
