The Merseyside Passenger Transport Executive handed the 500,000 contract to the Derby-based firm on the strength of its previous work in scratchcards and security print.
The tickets, covering trains, buses and ferries, include scratch-off panels to show which day and zone a ticket can be used.
"While scratchcards are not a new market for us, their use in public transport tickets is," said BemroseBooth business development director Joe Pleshek. "It's part of our strategy to expand scratchcards into other sectors."
The two-year contract also includes design and distribution. If successful the deal could be extended for another four years.
