The Banbury, Oxfordshire-based business took delivery of the 1.6m-wide machine in September.
The eight-colour-plus-white Latex 800W, which boasts environmental credentials including Greenguard Gold-certified water-based inks, was launched earlier this year.
Bamboo Creations director Emma Dixon said: “We decided that it was time to upgrade our printers and enhance our capabilities, enabling greater productivity while maintaining the sustainable benefits and print quality.
“We already had an HP printer, and its performance and quality – combined with our own high level of service and quality control – has helped us stand out from the crowd. It was critical that the new printer met our needs to enhance capability, increase speed without impacting quality and to continue to deliver against our sustainability promise.”
The Latex 800W will also help to open up new markets for the company, while the machine’s flexibility will increase the range of materials the business can print onto.
“We have only been running the printer for a matter of weeks, but we are already incredibly excited about the new materials we can use on the machine, which will in turn support further production in-house at our facility in Banbury,” said Dixon.
Bamboo Creations offers a range of wide-format print services and specialises in events, theming and corporate companies. As well as working directly for the likes of Center Parcs, the business also counts Royal Ascot, Warwick Castle, The Jockey Club and Emirates among its end-user customers through its partnerships with creative agencies Natural Green and T3.
