Showcased at the EuroShop retail fair in Germany earlier this month, the system enables businesses to make a piece of paper or synthetic material stick to a sheet magnet applied to a wall or display.
The nature of the technology also means it can be used around corners or pillars and can be rolled into tubes, reducing packaging, distribution and transport costs.
Daniel Pattison, group sales director at Augustus Martin, said: "The magnetic system allows a retailer to rethink their semi-permanent POS proposition, making the graphic element easily interchanged or replaced for a fraction of the cost.
"Store staff can change really large displays very easily and with no training or equipment."
Augustus Martin used the EuroShop event to demonstrate the magnetic system on the POPEuropean stand. In front of 200 visitors, the stand was transformed into a "glitzy party venue" constructed from 33 panels in a matter of minutes.
Pattison added: "EuroShop was a huge success for us and the stand attracted significant attention amongst some of the 106,000 visitors which attended the show.
"Giving a live demonstration enabled us to proactively show retailers they can easily change large areas of a store very quickly and allows them to consider a different look and feel for different times of trading or different days."
