The Kingston Bagpuize, Oxfordshire-based company took delivery of the device in March, nine years after its first was installed in 2012.
The company had already boosted its print capacity after previously investing in a Heidelberg Speedmaster SX 74 litho press and this presented a business case for another, newer model, iSaddle.
Artisan owner and managing director Ian Campbell said: “Artisan Print and Sign Solutions have been going from strength to strength. Continually reinvesting to ensure we have state of the art print and finishing equipment. It is designed to suit today’s challenging commercial print environment.
“It can handle litho and digital stocks and is extremely adaptable for small and high length runs due to its very fast setup times, as quick as 60 seconds without any manual intervention from our operators. With these efficiencies Artisan can pass these savings to our clients.”
Artisan also runs a Heidelberg Speedmaster 52, Ricoh and Xerox digital printers, HP and Agfa wide-format kit, and other finishing machinery from Horizon and Morgana, among others.
