A Local Printer is to take delivery of a Ryobi 755 with coater and has ordered a B2-format DPX4 to replace a DPX System platesetter. As part of the 650,000 deal, the West Sussex-based firm traded back its existing B3 Ryobi 524GX. According to A Local Printer managing director Ray Burn, the firm had gone as far as it could with B3.
"This investment takes us to a new level," he said.
Deal two was with London-based Armstrong Group, which also bought a Ryobi 755 with coater, as part of a pressroom revamp.
"Our 10-year old Heidelberg SM 74 has been a great servant but there have been a lot of changes to equipment over that time," said Armstrong Group director Mark Tackling.
Dublin-based Print Bureau ordered a Ryobi 784E. Director Declan Grace said the purchase would take the firm into the "Premier League" of Dublin printers.
Apex joint managing director Bernard Parker said: "We are delighted with the level of interest in our Ryobi line-up and have closed a significant amount of business."
Apex secures three Ryobi orders
