The B1 long perfectors, each with CutStar, helped the firm ring up an 8m Heidelberg bill.
The first machine is due in August when Anton Group hopes to move to its 16,000sqm plant near Basildon, five miles from the firm's existing seven sites. None of the 300 staff will lose their jobs.
"We will do spot colours and seal all work to speed up turnarounds," said chief executive John Knight (pictured second left).
"If you can't go with the future, you won't be able to compete with China and Eastern Europe."
He hoped the new kit, which included a Kodak NexPress, three MBO folders and two Agfa thermal platesetters worth 250,000, would take its 35m turnover to 50m within three years.
