Amicus signs deal with MAN Roland GB

Amicus and MAN Roland GB have signed the first formal collective agreement between the union and a printing press supplier.

The union recognition deal was agreed between the new Amicus graphical paper and media sector, formerly the GPMU, and the equipment supplier's service engineers. It covers 40 engineers employed by MAN Roland GB.

Amicus assistant general secretary Tony Burke said the union recognition deal was important because it was the first collective agreement covering this field, although some engineers from Heidelberg and Komori were already members.
