Eurotechnica, the Italian adhesive binder manufacturer, is rationalising its OEM sales in the UK, with Kolbus becoming agent for the four-clamp model (which will be targeted at digital print finishing environments under the name of SB-1300). Former UK agent Geliot Hurner Ewen, which sold the machines under the Eurobind name, is formally to discontinue sales, while small-format specialists The Impress Group will continue to market the range under the name of Technobind.
The Eurotechnica range comprises four models: a table-top and a free-standing single clamp aimed at print-on-demand applications, and a two- and a four-clamp model. Said Kolbus UK managing director Robert Flather: Were very pleased to be selling the four-clamp binder the digital print environment is growing fast, and Kolbus feels it is important to be involved. Kolbus will sell the SB-1300 for around 40,000.
