The Leyton-based company has installed a new BravoPlus saddlestitcher. The machines, which will finish work produced on three KBA Rapida sheetfed offset presses, have been brought on board to handle the company's vast book orders.
Sales director David Collins said: "We like the reliability of the Muller machines – we already have a 321 stitcher. We need to be certain that we always deliver on our promises."
As well as book printing, Alito covers a range of sectors including direct mail and glossy catalogue work.
It has a turnover of £10m, which has continued to grow since moving to new premises three years ago. The company has also turned its attention to the digital sector and is capable of printing personalised work.
