Alcan's initial move was made in February this year, but was subject to approval by Polish and European competition watchdogs. Parkside Poland went into administration at the end of last year.
The division has been rebranded Alcan Packaging Zlotow and will have a 150-strong workforce. The group added that Zlotow had "room for expansion".
"The acquisition enables us to benefit from a very competitive industrial base and will significantly increase capability in the attractive central and eastern European markets," said Alcan Packaging president and chief executive Christel Bories.
Parkside Flexibles in Normanton was bought in a MBO but sister firm Parkside Performance Films was closed following a controlled winding up.
