AGI Media Packaging Europe completed the 100,000-run for the packaging for Warner Musics latest dance compilation album The Clubbers Bible in just five days.
AGI Birmingham printed the Digipak CD boxes four-colour on a MAN Roland 700 and AGI Swindon printed the 12pp booklet on a Roland 300.
The digital artwork was received via ISDN and went onto the firms Agfa Galileo CTP system. We were on a very tight deadline. The artwork went straight to our CTP system, which significantly speeded the process up, said AGI account manager Martin Newbon.
The packaging was designed around the biblical theme of the album and forms the shape of a crucifix when unfolded.
The packaging was designed to make the product stand out and position it as a premium club culture product. This was achieved by the use of high-quality materials and an unusual design, said head of dance at Warner strategic marketing, Dan Irwin.
