The firm is dropping the the.factory name and from now on the single-pass ink-jet press will be known as the Dotrix.
It has notched up a sale to Flexmed, a Swedish flexible packaging printer, as well as to several yet to be disclosed UK printers including a flexible packaging printer and a transactional print firm.
Agfa has also launched a new set of UV-curable inks for the Dotrix. The Agorix ink has already met with approval from UK customer Gardners.
"The interaction between ink, the ink-jet heads and substrate is essential," said managing director Richard Gardner. "That is why we are so excited about Agfa taking ink development for our press into its own hands."
Agfa also premiered the new Grand Sherpa Universal AM. Available in 65in and 90in widths the machines are optimised for use with the firm's mild solvent inks.
