Pre-press products from Adobe and Fujifilm Electronic Imaging (FFEI) scooped awards at last week's MacUser Awards.

Adobe's Acrobat 5.0 PDF creation software won the Publishing Software category. Runners-up in that category were online pre-flighting software packages from Extensis, with Preflight Online, and Markzware for MarkzNet.

FFEI picked up the Scanner Hardware award for its A3-plus format FineScan 2750 flatbed scanner.

"The FineScan was designed to allow content creators to offer a more competitive service by carrying out final scanning in-house," said product manager Steve Giles.

FFEI has just shipped the 1,000th 2750.
