Administrators near JCM result

Negotiations for the sale of Liverpool-based JCM Print Services remain ongoing and are at a very delicate stage, according to the administrators of the company.

At the time of his appointment, joint administrator David Moore, a partner at Begbies Traynor, said he was discussing the possibility of a sale of the business with managing director Steve Hearty (PrintWeek, 13 May).

Begbies Traynor declined to say whether Hearty was one of those parties talks were continuing with.

Shortly after the appointment of administrators the majority of the 70 staff at the Sandhills-based plant were made redundant.
