The integrated communications provider has added a BlueCrest Epic high-speed mail inserting system to its Leicester site – the company’s seventh investment in this specific model. The system is equipped with four-way feeder camera technology for the verification and matching of personalised documents.
Adare SEC chief operating officer Hayden Savage said: “The new BlueCrest Epic system increases capacity at our Leicester site by 100 million envelopes per year.
“This extra processing power is essential to handle the increased volumes created by significant new business wins across the private and public sector. Our operators know the Epic system well, and our teams have been able to really hit the ground running.”
Guido Rietti, VP for BlueCrest UK, added: “The fact that Adare SEC has now invested in seven of our Epic systems is testament to the quality and processing power of the technology, and also to the growth ambitions of Adare SEC.
“They are a business working in demanding, highly regulated sectors, and the Epic is ideally placed to deliver integrity at volume. We are delighted to continue this long-standing partnership.”
Adare SEC has also taken on two new Riso T1200 full-colour inkjet printers at its Bellshill site. The business said these new additions, bought direct from Riso, will support cut-sheet, full-colour applications across a number of key sectors.
The BlueCrest system and Riso printers were installed in December and are all additional to Adare SEC’s kit portfolio.
In October, envelope and print specialist Mail Solutions acquired security print business Kalamazoo from Adare SEC.
Also in 2023, Adare SEC was once again awarded a Gold Sustainability Certification from the EcoVadis ratings agency, recognising sustainability initiatives and improvements across all sites. The rating puts Adare SEC in the top 2% of companies within the printing industry.
