Plymouth-based Adapt opted for the Konica Minolta machine as it said it offered a cost-effective, high-quality output compared with some other printers on the market.
The bizhub will run alongside a Xerox DC250 – a decision that has significantly upped capacity, according to founder and joint managing director Alan Toze.
He said: "At the beginning of last year, we were producing around 16,000 impressions a month, now we're doing 42,000 on the Konica machine alone."
Family-run Adapt Graphics, which employs five people, prints a range of jobs including small catalogues, brochures and programmes for local basketball team, Airwaves Plymouth Raiders.
Toze said: "The best thing about our customer base is that there are lots of them, we don't rely on a few."
The £180,000-turnover company recently produced a special edition of the programme to commemorate Olympic silver medalist Heather Fell's achievements at the Beijing games.
Adapt Graphics also runs wide-format Epson kit and a raft of in-house finishing equipment.
