Were the best placed company to serve the B3 market - KBA is better suited to further up the market, said AB Dick UK managing director Quen Baum. We have customers who have a need for that type of technology.
We are able to considerably boost our sales effort in the small press market by adding experience of AB Dick and its UK sales team, said KBA UK managing director Christian Knapp.
Baum said that Presstek, which licensed KBA the European rights for the press and for which AB Dick is UK distributor for platesetters and plates, was involved.
Its a three-way deal, he said. Its the Karat brand but it uses the Presstek technology we know so well, so we can move straight to it.
He said AB Dick would install the 46 Karat on display at DPW in its Brentford showroom after the event.
