Leeds-based specialist colour printer AB Co has installed a new CTP suite to keep pace with expansion.
It has also bought new freehold premises next to its Pudsey site to accommodate its expanding workforce.
Turnover last year topped 2.2m following 30% year-on-year growth since 1994, when a new management team took over.
The CTP system, which cost 200,000, became operational last week.
It consists of a CreoScitex Brisque front-end and a Lotem 400V platesetter and Iris4Print.
Sales director Michael Hinchcliffe said the CTP suite would give the company a competitive advantage by speeding up response to clients needs for leaflets and specialist brochures.
Hinchcliffe said the companys rapid expansion was down to teamwork. There was a strong possibility that it would be taking on more people in the near future.
AB Co has invested heavily in new kit over the past few years, including a new SRA2 five-colour Komori Lithrone L526.
AB Co counts BT, Woolworths and Yorkshire Electricity among its clients. More than 85% of its orders come from advertising
agencies and marketing companies.
