At the official launch of the new model in February Xeikon announced its ambitious goal to make 60 sales of its new high-end model before the end of the year.
That target has now been achieved just seven months later.
Newcastle-upon-Tyne based Ravensworth uses Xeikon machines to print up to 2,500 print orders per day, with the vast majority for estate agents offices throughout the UK.
"Print volumes have simply gone through the roof," said managing director Joe Percy.
The arrival of the new 5000 models, scheduled for delivery in December, will coincide with Ravensworth's move to new premises at Cramlington, Northumberland.
The total investment in the new premises and presses will be in the region of 2m.
The Xeikon 5000 is targeted at high-end digital press users, and has been built to handle volumes of more than 3m pages per month.
The first UK installation was at London's 1st Byte, in April this year.
