Kettering-based direct marketing firm 4DM has boosted its printing capacity by a quarter with a 500,000-plus spend on Oc laser printing kit.
The investment comprises four printers: two PageStream 500s and two PS158 cut-sheet printers.
The PageStream 500s can run at 500 A4 pages a minute at 300dpi. The firm already delivers around 200m direct mail packs a year.
Technical director Les Ritchie said: "We have never wanted to be the biggest direct marketing company, but we do aim to be the best, particularly for customer service.
"We promise a fresh approach to direct marketing and we will keep investing to ensure we deliver it."
The latest investment follows Octobers 1m spend on expansion and computerised handling kit.
