The 3x1.5m giant sweet box was raffled in aid of Alder Hey Children’s Hospital, raising £2,483 overall.
Hayley Johnson won the 40kg box – stuffed with 100,000 calories in 109 different treats – after the raffle closed on 15 December.
In a stroke of coincidence, Johnson herself works at Alder Hey as a specialist paediatric physiotherapist.
Andy Phillips, director of the two print firms that printed the box, said that it had been a treat to make.
He said: “We like to break boundaries, and being a large-format print company, we like to experiment creatively.
“What perfect way to do so by raising a lot of money for an important charity, whilst giving someone in the public the perfect Christmas gift.”
The selection box and lid were cut from 10mm Stadr board, V-grooved on a Zünd G3 XL3200, before being edge wrapped in Mactac JT8500 printed on an HP Latex 800W.
