It would have to be Soylent Green. It’s 40 years since I first saw it but I still remember the twist and the poignancy of it, so it must have been good

Eastenders (but don’t tell anyone)
What is your favourite phrase or saying?

The government raising the retirement age again

What’s your worst fashion disaster?
I had some very high platform boots in the 1970s and some pretty huge collars, but that was considered cool then so I’m not sure that they can be called disasters
Which superpower would you like?
Because I drive so much, it would be great to be able to fly (but only low because I don’t like heights)

To Friday, 21 June 2019 (retirement day). Do you see a theme emerging?

The silly, cheap internet stuff. Stop it! You are killing the industry

I suppose it was the first time I opened a major account with a household name. It was Bic Biro
