Where are you based?
Showcase Creative is based in Camberley, Surrey. We’ve moved twice to cope with expansion since setting up and we’re starting to get a bit tight on space again!
How many staff do you have?
Eight. We’ve recently employed an apprentice, which we were initially apprehensive about, but we couldn’t be more pleased with Beth.
What does your firm do?
Short- to medium-run, niche printed products including presentation folders, paper-over-board ring binders and rigid presentation boxes and media packaging. Due to our design background we are always keen to take on more bespoke projects.
Which markets do you serve?
SMEs, design agencies and blue chip companies. We also provide trade services for printers and print managers.
What’s your USP?
We believe in innovating to add value. Most of our machines have been modified in some way, either to improve quality or to streamline production. We have even had a machine made for us.
What equipment do you run?
Sheetfed and large-format digital presses, three Heidelberg platens, a B1 die-cutter, a B2 automatic laminator and paper-over-board and box-making kit.
What’s been your proudest achievement in the past few years?
Buildling a sustainable business from scratch.
Where do you see your business in five years’ time?
It would be great to be regarded as the go-to-guys for bespoke packaging and presentation material in the UK.
What’s your team’s favourite biscuit?
Anything with chocolate! We also have a cake lady who visits us every Friday.
