Zevrix Solutions launches LinkOptimizer 4.5 update

Zevrix Solutions has launched LinkOptimizer 4.5, a feature update to its workflow automation solution for Adobe InDesign that it said can cut costs and job turnaround time.

The software is aimed at printers and prepress bureau and works automatically with Adobe Photoshop to eliminate the excess image data of InDesign links, make image adjustments, and convert image formats.

It converts image colour space to an ICC profile space and means that users can have "much greater control over how the conversion is done", according to the company.

Zevrix Solutions said the new software means that printers can "save processing time and reduce production costs".

Features include the ability to scale and crop images to match dimension in InDesign at the click of a button, and change their resolution to 300ppi. It can also convert all RGB images to CMYK.

This means that users can save disk space and time spent optimising images manually, reducing job turnaround times and costs.

The product can be purchased from the company's website for $259.95 (£198), as well as from authorised resellers.

Canada-based Zevrix Solutions provides products for Adobe's Creative Suite software and PDF products.
