The print contract for TTS Group, a Nottingham-based firm that supplies education resources predominantly to primary schools, includes a range of 22 full-colour booklets and catalogues, from 64pp up to 1,900pp.
Wyndeham, which has already fulfilled the contract for three years, will continue to print the catalogue range until December 2016, under the new agreement.
The catalogues, sent out twice annually to TTS’s customers, are printed at Wyndeham’s Peterborough and Roche sites using its Lithoman IV 72pp web offset presses, while the multi-part sections are perfect bound at Wyndeham Roche.
TTS group production manager Neil Cleverly said renewing the contract had been a “no-brainer”.
“The service and quality we get from Wyndeham is outstanding. This account has been growing and it’s now a sizeable amount of work," he said.
Cleverly said TTS Group was one of the “lucky ones” that still had a real need to reach its customers via print.
“Even though our web presence is growing we have a continued need for a printed product and I can’t ever see that abating.
“You just can’t beat the physical presence of a magazine and the power of integrated marketing between online and print means we can serve customers needs in every form that they encounter."
Wyndeham Group chief executive Paul Utting said: “We have worked hard during the last contract to provide TTS Group with real value for money in terms of quality, on-time delivery and excellent customer service. The fact we have been able to renew this contract demonstrates TTS Group’s and our willingness to continue and develop the relationship.”
The printer has also announced a two-year the extension of its print contract with Hearst Magazines for its consumer titles Reveal and Men’s Health, as well as their related supplements.
Wyndeham has printed both titles for more than a decade with Men’s Health produced at the group’s Heron facility and weekly title, Reveal, printed at Peterborough.
Hearst Magazines UK production director John Hughes said: “Wyndeham is an important partner to Hearst Magazines and has consistently demonstrated its ability to deliver high-quality products that are challenging in terms of schedule and quality. We are very pleased to have renewed our contract and look forward to further developing this over the coming years.”
The announcements are the latest in a string of successful contract renewals throughout 2013 that saw the group sign further agreements with Condé Nast, Financial Times, The Economist, John Brown, and Haymarket Media.
