The former uses high output UV flourescent bulbs for a balanced light distribution, and is compatible with direct emulsion and capillary films. It is supplied with a 406.4mm x 508mm pressure pad for even contact between film positive and screen.
Optional extras include a vacuum frame and gas lifters for smooth opening and closing of the lid, effectively upgrading the unit to a Workhorse Lumitron product.
The Accu-Stretch is designed to save printers money by enabling them to stretch screens to the required mesh count in-house, rather than have to buy in pre-stretched screens in advance. The unit is available in nine sizes and features self-equalising stretch clamps. The company says it works with any screen size and any type of stretch-and-glue frame.
