Parish’s exit, together with fellow shareholder and commercial director Richard Jameson, was announced late last month, at which time there was no word on their successors.
Williams Lea has maintained a stony silence on the subject. However, industry sources have now told PrintWeek that Peter Zillig, formerly of ad agencies Lowe & Partners and Euro RSCG, has taken up the reins at Tag.
Williams Lea confirmed that Zillig had joined the company but denied that he was a direct replacement for Parish.
The selection of Zillig, with his extensive agency experience, as Parish’s replacement could prove a determining factor in maintaining the close client relationships that were seen as central to Tag’s success.
Parish sold international design and production agency Tag to Williams Lea in July 2011.
