Due to the current economy, there have been rumours that visitor numbers for the event could be low this year with many potential clients unable to invest in new kit.
However, Vivid has reported a positive response to an email marketing campaign ahead of the event, with a large number of demonstrations already booked in.
Marketing manager Cassie Booth said: "We have sent out several email campaigns promoting our presence at the show. The number of enquiries we have received has been fantastic.
"We have received many phone calls and emails to book demonstrations at Northprint, reassuring us that the show will attract genuine customers looking to invest in print finishing kit."
According to Booth, the main attraction at its stand will be the new Matrix 530 single-sided laminator.
Northprint organiser IIR has urged the industry to support the show, which is being held on 21-23 April at the Harrogate International Centre.
It claims that pre-show visitor registrations are roughly in line with those of 2005.
"The message is that there are still deals to be done, printers haven't given up the ghost on investing and we want to carry on and do our bit to show our support for the print industry," said IIR Exhibitions managing director Nicky Mason.
