The 10-staff business signed for the new machine on the first day of the show on the HP stand (Hall 4, stand D60) and said the 7600, which replaces an outgoing 3500 model Indigo, would help grow its digital capabilities.
"Digital print makes up 70% of our sales and that is now likely to grow with the addition of the new HP machine," said Rob Ebben, managing director of VG Print.
The company, which was established in 2005, signed for the new printer without seeing a demonstration, citing the "fantastic" experience it had with its previous Indigo for the investment.
"We weighed up several alternatives, but came to the conclusion that the 7600 was the right machine. Our customers specifically request HP Indigo quality so this model made sense," he added.
VG Print, which financed the purchase through HP Financial Services, produces a range of commercial and wide-format print for a variety of customers.
