It is understood that Graham Fraser, UPM's director for magazine papers, and Mike Holland, sales director UPM UK, left the business yesterday.
The paper giant said the changes of the new sales organisation, which come into effect immediately, reflect the global restructuring of its paper business group announced on 10 September 2008.
Will Oldham, general manager UPM UK sales, said: "Sadly, a number of sales personnel have unfortunately had to leave the company as part of the restructure announced today."
Further information regarding the changes will be released next week on 19 January.
UPM said it is unable to comment further at this time.
