According to the company, the ELC machine can cut a range of substrates up to 5m wide and 7m in length.
In addition to board stocks printed on HP, Agfa or Océ machines, the Premiumcut platform can cut stocks including Kevlar and glass fibre as well as textiles and other synthetic materials.
With cutting speeds of up to 120m/minute, the ELC model is a scalable system that can be configured to 5m wide but also to smaller sizes such as 3.2m.
Martin Sofranko, account manager for UK and Ireland distributor Assyst Bullmer, said the Premiumcut ELC "pushes the boundaries" of cutting with high production speeds on larger surface areas.
He said the bespoke machines would be "competitively priced".
