The company, which is a subsidiary of Japanese group Mitsubishi Paper Mills, said it has a lighter and thinner base paper, which means that a roll with the same diameter can be approximately 15% longer when compared to standard till rolls.
According to Mitsubishi, fewer cores are needed when the rolls are converted, so the reduced transport and storage requirements result in cost savings for customers.
The speciality paper manufacturer said it is committed to eco-sensitive production and processing of thermal paper. Currently, it is FSC and Nordic Swan certified, Reach compliant and ISO 14001 accredited.
