The product is said to offer a "consumable-free approach to dampening solution filtration using tried and tested technology" although Technotrans has not revealed further details.

In addition to its range of filtration systems for different press formats and dampening volumes, visitors to the manufacturer's stand (B302) at the Harrogate-based show, which takes place from 14-16 May, will also be able to check out Technotrans' new range of ink dispensing and mixing devices.

These include the ink.dos m manual and ink.dos auto automatic ink dispensing systems, which allow printers to match up to 30,000 Pantone colours in-house. Both versions can dispense and/or mix conventional and UV inks.

The manual version uses 14 different base colours in 2.5kg cans as standard, with options for 5kg cans, 25kg canisters or 200kg barrels. The automatic version uses up to 20 base colours in 25kg canisters or 200kg drums. Both dose to within +/- 0.1g.
