The New York-based company said that its Supercom 800 ELS press can give companies "greater flexibility and profit opportunities" due to its 17.5in or optional 20.5in web width.
The machine features Bosch Rexroth Servo motors and Allen Bradley communication controls. It is set up as a network and can be remotely accessed by the internet for diagnostics and software updates.
Its Supercom 1000 variable cassette press comes as 20.5in standard width, with a closed-loop registration system and ink fountains that are preset from the pre-press console by EPG. It allows print from one-over-one or up to 4/4 colors, full bindery, with optional UV driers on coated stock.
Paul Schwartz, Super Web vice president, said: "Both these presses are aimed at the direct mail markets and can be customised to fit a particular niche market.
"We feel that with the current ageing of the web press market, Super Web is in an excellent position to help printers to modernise their presses and thereby accomplish quick makeready and reduce waste, by utilising these state-of-the-art technologies."
The company has also embarked on a campaign to promote its presses into Europe, Africa, South America and Asia and it is hoping that Print 09 will add to its exposure in these markets.
Print 09 is due to take place on 11-16 September, in Chicago, US.
