The second Indo-German conference will be held on 26-27 November in Mumbai. The conference is being organised by pmIndia and will discuss technology trends and developments in packaging printing.
The conference will discuss brand protection technology, added value UV using technology, developments in flexography, inkjet technology for packaging printing. Presentations will be made by key speakers: professor and doctor Ing Arved Hubler, director, pmTUC, Chemnitz, Germany; Kiran P Prayagi, head, pmIndia and partner, Graphic Arts Technology and Education; Guenther Keppler, general manager, Heidelberg India; Venugopal Menon, vice president, Bobst India; Rajesh Singh, general manager R&D, Positive packaging along with other vital speakers.
The main organiser, Kiran Prayagi, who is head of pmIndia and also a partner with Graphics Arts Technology and Education stated: "The packaging consumption in Asia and has huge potential. This puts great demands on packaging printing. The printing industry is facing new challenges in reproduction processes to produce high-quality on various substrates using different printing and finishing processes. The conference serves the purpose to come up with various ways to look at this situation."
Like the first edition, the official media partner for the conference is PrintWeek India. The conference is supported by Federal Ministry of Education.
