The firm took the decision because of the expansion of its range to include machines of interest beyond its core signage market, including commercial printers and packaging firms.
"The centrepiece of the stand will be the creative centre, where we will be showing applications using our products," said Roland DG UK senior marketing executive Johanna Probert.
A new product will be unveiled in the run up to Ipex, which will be shown alongside the recently introduced metallic ink Soljet Pro III XC-540MT; the LEC-330 UV, which is proving popular for packaging prototyping, and the rest of the range of print equipment.
