Renz, which participated in the first show in 2011 and is returning after a two-year absence, will display a range of its punching and binding machines.
It will show the AP360 fully automatic punching system and the Mobi 500 semi-automatic wire binding system, which will bind books and calendars from 50mm to 500mm width.
“We were always keen on the concept of Print Efficiently, which provides something a little different to the traditional trade show. We like the idea of a practical, collaborative event with more real-world solutions and less hard sell,” said Renz UK managing director Iain Bullock.
“Although we were unable to attend in 2012 and 2013, we had a good experience in 2011 and we’re expecting even better things this time around.”
Colourbyte, which is attending the event for the first time, will display Epson proofing and signage printers, the Stylus Pro 9900 and the SureColor SC-S70600.
Apex Digital Graphics and IFS, two of last year’s core partners, have central roles again this year, with Apex hosting the event at its Hemel Hempstead showroom on 7-9 and 21-23 October.
“Hemel Hempstead is a very accessible place and a perfect venue to run an event like this without people spending the fortunes that they might have done on international shows historically,” said Apex Digital Graphics managing director Bob Usher.
“There’s a refreshing new wave of enthusiasm going through the industry and we hope to live off that. We’re seeing a lot more sales leads coming through, a lot more demonstrations being done, new technologies coming up and people are getting deposits now where as before they couldn’t.”
Print Efficiently aims to demonstrate how equipment from a variety of pre-press, press and post-press manufacturers can work in harmony, and to provide an educational forum to offer new ideas to printers regarding efficiency and profitability.
“The unique thing about Print Efficiently is that you can come here, see everything in two or three hours and get back to the office. It’s a very friendly local event where you’re not being heavily sold to or intimidated by the sheer enormity of international shows,” said Usher.
Other companies that have confirmed for this year’s event include Ryobi, Konica Minolta, KAS Paper Systems, Foliant, Petratto, Perfecta, Mitsubishi, VPress, PDC, Shuttleworth and Meler.
