Registrations in full swing for the Indo German conference

Print and technology will come together on 4 and 5 March 2011 at the Novatel Hotel in Mumbai even as the best minds in the country will gather to discuss how their long-time expertise in providing the right solution can be leveraged on the print floor.

As Kiran Prayagi, curator of the conference said: "Print firms in India are seeking more revenue from kit. In this context, the conference, will examine a wide variety of strategies and practices that look at paper handling, printability, substrates, coatings and varnishes, PUR gluing, eco-friendly consumables and more."

Key presentations at the two-day conference, which is expected attract the best brains in the print industry, include:

Each of the two days at the conference will end with a panel discussion. Ramu Ramanathan, editor of PrintWeek India will be the chairperson of these discussions.
    Prayagi said there will be many international speakers and case-studies during the entire conference. He summed up: "We all need to keep our industry fresh."

    Already there is healthy number of delegates who have registered.

    This conference is being organised by pmIndia, a joint venture of Institute for Print and Media Technology and Chemnitz University of Technology, Chemnitz, Germany and Graphic Arts Technology and Education (GATE).
