Edwards' talk highlighted global warming issues and was accompanied by an 184pp+8pp hard cover book, entitled Hard Rain: Our Headlong Collision with Nature, produced by Pureprint.
The book features a collection of photographs illustrating the lyrics of the Bob Dylan song A Hard Rain's A-gonna Fall.
A spokesperson for Pureprint said: "In 1969 Mark Edwards was lost on the edge of the Sahara desert when he was rescued by a Tuareg nomad who produced a cassette player on which he heard Bob Dylan sing the song.
"Dylan's piercing lyric inspired Edwards to illustrate each line of the song and in the years that followed he travelled the globe, photographing our headlong collision with nature."
Throughout the presentation at Browns in Covent Garden, Edwards discussed problems including deforestation, recycling, poverty and ecological sustainability.
Last month, Pureprint Group was named Environmental Printer of the Year at the PrintWeek Awards 2008.
