As in the previous years, print industry’s best graced the occasion and helped celebrate the positive impact, which the print companies at the PrintWeek India Awards are making across the print spectrum.
They included: the Singhvis of IPP; the Parchuris of Pragati; the Kejriwals from Parksons Packaging and Parksons Graphics; the Mehtas of Utility PrintPack; the Muchalas of Silverpoint; Seths of Replika; Aspi Forbes of Jak Printers; Amit Shah of Spectrum Scan; Mehul Desai and his team at MOS; MN Pandey of Avantika Printers, Ashwini Arya of Parfact Digital, among others.
"If someone prints a perfect book; a digital print that is sharp, has truer colour and is as good as an offset print; or a packaging that invites you to indulge in, there’s going to be an award for it," said Suresh Ramakrishnan, publishing director at Haymarket India.
Whether it’s in the performance categories, where business excellence is the name of the game, or the quality awards, where the calibre of the work produced was the focus, the value of winning the award was a validation, an announcement that they are the best.
The night’s big winner was packaging company, Parksons Packaging. The company secured the PrintWeek India Printing Company of the Year for setting goads and targets and achieving it with aplomb.
The other significant winners were Pragati Offset, Silverpoint Press, Spectrum Scan and Vishwakala Printers. All of them won two awards. There were companies who have won in successive years and first-time winners like: Replika Press, Avantika Printers, Eswara Screens, Marvel Graphic Studio, Jayna Packaging, Manohar Packaging and Resync Progressive Retail Solutions.
The glittering event was attended by more than 350 guests, who share the glory of the worthy winners who bagged the ‘Prisms’.
