According to event director Matt Stokes, the organisers are anticipating an 80/20 split in favour of corporate print buyers and marketing managers versus trade buyers and printers.
The high proportion of buyers at the show is partly a result of the decision to run P4B alongside sister show Incentives & Promotional Marketing (I+PM).
In addition, there are several other marketing-based shows that are on at the NEC at the same time, including Call Centre Expo, Leisure Industry Week, and Event UK.
"We're delivering an audience, content and exhibitors that are of interest to printers and trade print buyers, as well as direct corporate buyers of print and marketing professionals," said Stokes.
"The main reason we want marketing decision makers at the event is in support of printers – my hope is that our exhibition will draw the marketers in and champion print as an important part of the marketing mix."
Print for Business will take place from 21-22 September in Hall 7 of Birmingham's NEC. For more information see www.p4b-live.co.uk.
